DESCRIPTION OF A TEAM MEMBER
Our church family is connected by our passionate pursuit to see our city and the world come to know the power and beauty of Jesus Christ.
We are looking for people who have had a biblical salvation experience, love Jesus, the people of CrossPointe Baptist Church, the City of McFarland, and the world to join us. It is important that our team members are willing to adapt and be flexible, work above and beyond expectations, all while acting as advocates of the culture, articles of faith and vision of CrossPointe McFarland. An ideal individual is a team player, low drama, high-momentum, high-capacity, positive, an over-comer, a dreamer, and creative with a can-do-whatever-it-takes attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide overall leadership and oversight to the Worship Arts Ministry.
• Lead and develop worship team members.
• Select weekly worship set, organize practices, plan gatherings, events, special worship sets and work with children’s ministry choir.
• Lead team to recruit, train and retain worship team members and develop appropriate organization structure to maximize their effectiveness and accountability.
• Build and invest in relationships with current and potential team members.
• Create trusted relationships with parents and families by communicating with them consistently and intentionally, with the goal of building a partnership by which we can assist in pointing people towards Jesus.
